The configuration view consists of 3 tabs:
- Registration: Provides the registration form.
- Heartbeat: Enables/disables hearbeating features to allow Abiquo team collect utilization information.
- Licenses: (Enterprise Edition only) Provides license management functionallity.
Product Registration
The first time a user logs in to Abiquo Platform, the following popup appears:
If user selects to register, it will appear a form to introduce customer information required for the regiostration process.
When user register into Abiquo Holdings the license tab will be enabled and user will be able to add licenses to manage abiquo Enterprise edition.
Heartbeating
Heartbeating is a functionality added by Abiquo that helps the development team to collect basic information about utilization of the platform and will helps in the future development of the software. Heartbeating is not a must, and user can decide to enable or disable it.
The first time that user access to abiquo server it will appear a popup asking to enable the Heartbeating features:
If the user decides to enable the heartbeating features, the following popup will appear showing heartbeat information:

License management

Abiquo Enterprise Edition licensing is based on managed CPU cores. When purchasing an Abiquo license, the user must specify the amount number of CPUs that will be managed by the Abiquo platform and obtain a license according to that number.
There is no restriction on the way a user licenses the product. Users can purchase more than one license, and combine them to fit their needs.
| Cumulative licensing Abiquo uses a cumulative licensing mechanism, so users who purchase several licenses L to manage C cores, will hace the ability to manage L1*N1 + L2*N2 + Ln*Nn cores. |

The example figure shows the Abiquo platform installed with 3 licenses, one of them expired. The total amount of cores that the Abiquo platform will manage according to this example is 2000 cores.
To add a purchased license, just click the 
button and add the license key in the popup that appears:
To remove an existing license, select it and click the 
button.
