Abiquo uses two different Storage Systems for different purposes:
- Appliances Repository: This is the place where the users store the Virtual Images that they want to deploy in the Cloud. This repository is a simple NFS shared folder that can be hosted almost anywhere.
- Virtual Storage: This is the system where the users store the Virtual Block Devices that can be attached and mounted to every single Virtual Image. These Block Devices looks like standard physical disks to the Virtual Machines and can be assigned through the Abiquo User Interface and API.
