This section lists recommended versions that are tested and supported by Abiquo.
Servers
The Abiquo platform is integrated in the CentOS operating system. Therefore, you should ensure that your server hardware or virtual machine is compatible with CentOS and that suitable drivers are available.
MySQL
ON the Abiquo Linux ISO and in the repositories, Abiquo provides mysql-server-5.0.77-4.el5_6.6. This is the only tested and supported release. Abiquo does not support MySQL 5.5 at this time.

KVM, Xen and VirtualBox require the appropriate version of AIM.

Remote Access Support
Abiquo allows users to remotely access virtual machines through the eye icon. The users must have access to the Abiquo service network, but this may be provided through a remote access proxy server.

Remote access is only supported for virtual machines created using Abiquo.

Persistent Virtual Machines can use Managed Tiered Storage or Generic iSCSI Storage. On imported virtual machines, Abiquo will only automatically recognize the system disk.
Networking
- Abiquo supports IPv4 for DHCP and access to the Abiquo console/UI.
- To configure the network on a virtual machine, the virtual machine must be undeployed.
- A virtual machine can be set up as an Internet Gateway to provide Internet Access to virtual machines.
- Abiquo supports hypervisor NIC bonding and teaming as supported by hypervisors.
