Manage Virtual Datacenter

Be Careful If you are reading this section, we assume you have already registered users and physical infrastructure. If not, please go back because you'll not be able to create a Virtual Datacenter.

After log-in into the application, press Virtual Datacenters and abiCloud will lead you to Virtual Datacenter management screen.

Press the lower left button into the Virtual Datacenter box marked with a and you'll see a pop-up screen with Virtual Datacenter's options.

Choose the Virtual Datacenter's name, select the physical datacenter where its applications will be deployed and the hypervisor you want to use. Please note the hypervisor depends on the physical datacenter configuration, so select the physical datacenter first. Press OK.

You'll see the just-created Virtual Datacenter in the left of the screen, into the Virtual Datacenter box.

You can change the Virtual Datacenter's name pressing the icon with a wheel drop down list in the lower right part of the Virtual Datacenters box in the screen. You'll see two options, choose Edit and after that, you'll be able to modify the Virtual Datacenter's name.

You can delete a Virtual Datacenter, select it and press the delete button . This process, first of all assure that there aren't any virtual Appliance or Volume assigned on it.
