Overview

This section provides an overview to the basics of abiCloud.

STEP 1: Log in to abiCloud

Log in to abiCloud as System Administrator.

STEP 2: Validate out-of-the-box infrastructure 

Double-click on Infrastructure -> myDataCenter. The out-of-the-box infrastructure contains a single cloud node.

STEP 3: Modify physical machine 

Select your machine name from the Rack list and click Configure   . Configure the machine to your specifications, ensuring that it uses the correct IP address and Hypervisor type.

STEP 4: Download applications

Double-click on Apps library.

Double-click on the abiSpace icon and the application opens in a new window.

Select the platform-specific application you want and click Download.

STEP 5: Configure virtual datacenter

Double-click on Virtual Datacenters.

To create a Virtual Datacenter locally, click Create !creation.png!. In the dialog provided, enter a name for the virtual Datacenter. Check the name of the local Datacenter and Hypervisor type and click on OK. 

To create a virtual Application, click Create Application . In the dialog provided, enter a name for the virtual Application. Check the name of the local Datacenter and click on OK.

To configure your virtual Application and run it, drag-and-drop the application icon and click Save  .

Click POWER ON  .

Congratulations! Your Virtual Application has been deployed.
