Virtual Volume management

In this part you'll learn how users can manage volumes

After log-in into the program, press Virtual Datacenters and abiCloud lead you to Virtual Datacenter management screen.

In the top left part of the Virtual Infrastructure box you will see two options: Virtual Appliances and Volumes. Select Volumes. After that, select the Virtual Datacenter in the Virtual Datacenter box where you want to create the volume. You will se the screen with all the already created virtual volumes and their related information (Name, Virtual Datacenter, Virtual Appliance, Virtual machine, Maximum size, Requested Size and Used space) according with all the columns.


Press the lower left button into the Virtual Infrastructure box marked with a
and you'll see a pop-up screen with Virtual Volumes's options.

Datacenter option is already filled due the previous action, but you'll need to choose the volume name, set its description and select the maximum size of the volume (in Gygabytes).

Press OK and Volume will be created. You'll see in the volume list now.

You'll be able to edit the values of the Volume (name and resize) pressing the lower right
button of the Virtual Infrastructure's box.
If the volume is not attached to any machine, user can select it and click on delete button
