User's Guide. 2. Home
This dashboard is the first screen you will see when you log in to Abiquo. It is intended as a general view of the resources currently being used by your system on four different screens, which are from left to right, top down:
These four screens can be minimized or maximized to give a better view of only the data you are interested in.
All information shown on this dashboard is contextualized for the current user, so you'll only see data related to the enterprises or resources you have access to. Users that can view more than one enterprise can select an enterprise to see its data.
If you have the List all enterprises within scope privilege, you can view the dashboard statistics for any selected enterprise within your administration scope. In the top left corner of the screen, below the logo, you will see the Enterprise selector. Click to open the enterprise list and select an enterprise. The dashboard will now show the data for the selected enterprise only.
The default Cloud Administrator (username:admin) belongs to the Abiquo enterprise. This enterprise is used to administer users, enterprises, roles and privileges in Abiquo.
If you have the Allow user to switch enterprise privilege, click theimpersonate icon beside a name in the enterprise list to administer that enterprise.
The name of the enterprise with which you are currently working will be displayed beneath your username in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
You will now be working as the administrator of this enterprise and all your actions with virtual datacenters and virtual appliances will apply to this enterprise. You will work with this enterprise until you choose to impersonate another, which may include your own enterprise. When you log out and log in again, the enterprise will not be reset - you must click on another enterprise's impersonate icon to switch to it.
While working with another enterprise, you can display the statistics of any other enterprise by selecting it in the enterprise list in the left pane of Home view.
This screen shows statistics of the resources used by the current or selected enterprise and/or the selected virtual datacenters in all the accessible datacenters. The view will depend on the user's scope and privileges. See Enterprise Statistics and Virtual Datacenter Statistics for more information.

By default, the statistics are updated every time you enter Home view. If you mark the checkbox to update statistics automatically, the statistics are updated at the interval set in Configuration View on the Dashboard page of the System Properties tab with the "Refresh interval for dashboard" parameter. A small countdown timer in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen displays the number of seconds until the next update.

This is a condensed view of the Events view logs. It is controlled with the same privileges as the Events view, so if the user has no events privileges, no events window will display here. Otherwise, the window will display all events for the enterprise or all events, depending on the user's role, privileges and scope.
